Synopsis: The documentary film Beyond His Closet follows Adam Kowalski’s life prior to and after coming out of the closet to his friends and family. Living a life without a mother and a father who wasn’t always there for him, he struggles turning to drugs, having a rocky relationship with his father, and discovering his chosen family. As he continues on to adulthood and is surrounded by loved ones who love him unconditionally, he learns the true meaning of not only coming out of his closet but coming in.
